Abstract: The general trends and methods of studying sorption from solutions on oxide hydroxide surfaces are discussed, including coprecipitation and sorption on previous activated sorbents. The models of the sorption mechanism and of the interrelation between different types of sorption are examined. The bibliography includes 166 references.
