Abstract:
Methods of obtaining vinyl cations, which are derivatives of the ethenyl cation H2C=C+H and have the high reactivity of intermediate species, are examined. Particular attention is given to the nuclear chemical method of obtaining free vinyl cations. Data on the reaction of vinyl cations (including free cations) with different classes of compounds containing n, π, and σ reaction sites have been correlated. The bibliography includes 138 references.
