Influence of linear filtering on wavefront reconstruction

Abstract: Consideration is given to a system for compensating phase distortions, which contains a diaphragm and a spatial frequency filter characterized by a scatter function of finite width. The average amplitude and intensity of the reconstruct field are determined. It is shown that some of the earlier results can be generalized to inhotnogeneous media of finite thickness.
