Abstract: Summaries are given of the papers presented at the International Symposium on Ultrafast Processes in Spectroscopy, held in Tallinn in 1978. The Symposium was devoted to picosecond processes in molecules and crystals, ultrafast reactions and secondary radiation, picosecond laser methods, and research on biomolecules.
