Investigation of diffraction gratings induced in LiNbO₃ for integrated-optics applications

Abstract: A study was made of diffraction gratings produced in a diffused waveguide of LiNbO₃ by irradiating it with an He–Cd-laser interference pattern. They were used to couple radiation into and out of the waveguide.
