Regular integrated array of stripe injection lasers

Abstract: It was found experimentally that narrow stripe lasers separated by sufficiently small distances and sharing the same active layer in a single crystal emitted in phase when the pump current was within a certain range. The output radiation was then characterized by a narrow angular distribution close to the diffraction limit.
