Abstract: Papers presented at the Second International Symposium on Ultrafast Phenomena in Spectroscopy are reviewed. The Symposium dealt with instruments and techniques used in picosecond spectroscopy and their applications in molecular physics, photochemical reactions, solid state physics, and photobiology.
