Optical spectra of an acousto-optically mode-locked cw YAG:Nd laser

Abstract: The spectra of a cw YAG:Nd laser were investigated using a Fabry–Perot interferometer. The laser was mode-locked by an acousto-optic modulator. A band width of up to 4.8 GHz was obtained, corresponding to a pulse length of 200 psec.
