Optoacoustic interaction in semiconductors and wavefront reversal of acoustic beams

Abstract: An analysis is made of the optoacoustic interaction in semiconductors, based on the phononplasmon interaction when the conduction band population is modulated by a periodic sequence of electromagnetic pulses. The possibility of using this interaction for wavefront reversal of acoustic beams is considered.
