Analysis of the influence of the coupling between channels on optical characteristics of laser Y-junction arrays

Abstract: Coupling between linear sections of waveguides in a laser Y-junction array alters the threshold conditions for the excitation of the array supermodes and preferential formation of an optical field with a two-lobe far-field distribution.
