Abstract:
Results are presented of an investigation of the influence of various parameters of a bubbling type of chemical singlet oxygen generator on the concentration of singlet oxygen in the stream. These parameters include the dimensions of the supply aperture in the distributing grid, the composition of the working solution, and the thickness of the working solution layer. It is shown that, under the conditions studied, these parameters negligibly influence the O2( 1Δ) concentration which is mainly governed by the transport regime in the gas channel.
