Threshold for parametric oscillation due to confocal resonator modes in the e–oe interaction

Abstract: A possible method of reducing the parametric oscillation threshold in the case of the e–oe interaction is proposed and analyzed. This uses two-pass closed paths of an ordinary parametric beam in a confocai resonator.
