Abstract:
A study was made of the selective properties of diffused optically controlled waveguides made of FKhS4 and FKhS7 photochromic gasses. The induced attenuation in these waveguides was 30 dB/cm when the control radiation power was 6×10–4W. It was found that colored diffused waveguides acted as spatial and polarization selectors of waveguide modes, both under dynamic and steady-state conditions.
