Abstract: The laser output energies obtained as a result of photolysis of RI-O₂(¹Δ_g)-O₂(X³∑_g^-)-Ar mixtures were determined in a comparison of CH₃I and n-C₃F₇I as donors of atomic iodine in a pulsed chemical oxygen-iodine laser.
