Abstract:
A study is made of the possibility of using spatial filtering of the speckle pattern of radiation from a single-fiber sensor for the determination of the pressure in an acoustic wave. It is shown that a modification of the initial speckle pattern caused by a dynamic pressure on a fiber waveguide makes the sensor signal a linear function of the change in pressure. It is shown that an increase in the light wave intensity at the entry to a sensor results in a slight reduction in the signal/noise ratio.
