New intense bands in the nonlinear absorption and multiphoton dissociation spectra of monosilane in the 11-μm emission range of an isotopic 13C16O2 laser
Abstract:
Optoacoustic and luminescence methods were used to investigate nonlinear absorption and multiphoton dissociation of monosilane in single- and two-frequency laser fields by tuning in the region of the emission lines of 12C16O2 and 13C16O2 lasers. For several lines in the 11-μm lasing region, discovered by single-frequency excitation, the efficiency of these absorption and dissociation processes was a factor of 3–10 higher than that in the traditional 10-μm region. The multiphoton dissociation efficiency of SiH4 was increased further by two-frequency excitation.
