Excitation of rhodamine 6G in ethanol by electric breakdown of the solution

Abstract: A study was made of the excitation of rhodamine 6G in ethanol by electric breakdown of the solution. The excitation mechanisms were identified and the spectral composition of the luminescence was determined. It was established that the excitation was electronic and its efficiency was 1%.
