Improvement of the method of interpretation of interferograms in studies of thermal deformations

Abstract: A proposal is made fot an improved method for the interpretation of interferograms which can accelerate considerably the process of measurement and increase the precision of determination of deformations of an object. The improved method is applied to thermal deformations in a soldered cylindrical glass–Kovar–copper joint.
