Abstract:
A telescopic laser system with phase-conjugation compensation of distortions of a segmented main mirror (diameter 30 cm, focal length 1.2 m) was constructed. Experimental results agreed with numerical modeling and demonstrated the feasibility of forming a diffraction-quality image when the segments of the main mirror were tilted at angles up to 1.5 X 10 – 4 rad and longitudinal displacements were up to 10 μm.
