Estimate of the influence of the difference between individual lasers on phase locking of a laser array

Abstract: An investigation is made of the influence of the difference between individual lasers and of the optical coupling parameters on the number of lasers which can be phase-locked in an array. The estimates are confirmed by a numerical experiment.
