Investigation of the service life of high-power cw heterolasers

Abstract: An investigation was made of the service life of cw heterolasers operated at various output power levels. The rate of degradation depended on the laser radiation power. Relationships for the calculation of the heterolaser service life were derived allowing for the energy conditions during tests.
