Autowave processes in a Fabry–Perot interferometer containing a complex nonlinear medium

Abstract: The space-time processes that take place in a Fabry–Perot interferometer containing a complex, optically nonlinear medium have been studied. A realization of such an interferometer based on a metal-insulator-semiconductor-(liquid crystal) (MIS-LC) structure and a corresponding mathematical model are discussed. Spatial phenomena in a Fabry–Perot interferometer with a built-in MIS-LC cell are also discussed.
