Simple semiconductor correlator for picosecond light pulses

Abstract: A semiconductor correlator was developed for measuring the second-order moment and the correlation function of ultrashort light pulses. A simple device was built utilizing a two-photon-absorbing crystal of CdS_0.6CdSe_0.4.
