The first observation of SRS in a trigonal LiCaAlF₆ crystal

Abstract: The Raman parametric generation is excited for the first time in a trigonal LiCaAlF₆ fluoride crystal pumped by picosecond pulses. The energy of the χ⁽³⁾-active vibrational mode is determined and all Stokes and anti-Stokes components of SRS are detected for this crystal in the visible region.
