Assignment of some laser transitions in the HCOOD molecule

Abstract: A high-resolution investigation was made of the IR spectrum of the fundamental ν₆ band of the HCOOD molecule. Five lines of submillimetre stimulated emission by this molecule were identified for the first time. The rotational and centrifugal distortion parameters of the ν₆ and 2ν₉ vibrational states were determined. The positions of the centres of the ν₆ and 2ν₉ bands were found to be 972.85063(10) and 1011.67669(14) cm^-1 , respectively.
