Abstract: Laser action (in the 4F3/2 – 4I11/2 channel) and stimulated Raman scattering were excited for the first time in an Nd3+:Bi12SiO20 single crystal at room temperature. All the observed stimulated emission and multiple Stokes and anti-Stokes lines were identified.
