Measurement of the photoionization cross section of the Li atom at the 2P level

Abstract: Measurements were made of the photoionization cross section of the lithium atom at the 2P level. The measurements were carried out in an atomic beam and they yielded σ = (1 ± 0.3)×10^–17 cm².
