Model of a medium for design of resonators of gasdynamic CO₂ lasers

Abstract: An analysis is made of the possibility of applying a mathematical model of a medium with just two equations in the design of gasdynamic laser resonators. It is shown that this model ensures a satisfactory precision of the calculations in a certain range of parameters of the active medium.
