Physics of energy storage in a BaEr₂F₈:Tm:Ho active medium

Abstract: It has been found that the factor differentiating holmium-containing active media in terms of energy characteristics is the degree of reversal of resonant processes involving summation of the excitation of the ⁴I_13/2 (Er), ³F₄ (Tm), and ⁵I₇ (Ho) storage levels.
