Abstract:
A report is given of the construction of a two-mode CO2/SF6 laser with an internal absorption cell and a three-mirror telescopic resonator. Power resonances were obtained for the first time in the two-mode lasing regime: they had an amplitude of 5 mW and a half-width of 50 kHz at a pressure of the absorbing gas of 0.1 Pa in a cell 0.6-m long. Frequency resonances with an amplitude of 5 kHz were observed under the same conditions.
