Influence of the initial initiation on the parameters of an H₂/F₂ laser

Abstract: A study was made of the dependences of the parameters of a chemical H₂/F₂ laser on the degree of initial initiation of the mixture by an electron beam. The conditions for the attainment of the maximum efficiency were different from those needed to achieve the maximum output energy.
