Abstract:
An experimental investigation was made of the resonant photoactivation of chemical processes in complex condensed polymer systems irradiated with a definite wavelength. Weak monochromatic illumination of a previously heated film of ML-12 enamel raised the degree of polymerization to practically 100%, instead of the usual 85–90%. Moreover, such illumination increased considerably the rate of drying so that the drying temperature could be lowered. The results obtained suggested that laser illumination could be of practical use in the technology of drying of microelectronic devices.
