Kinetics of a solid-state laser with an additional moving mirror

Abstract: An investigation is made of the kinetics of a single-mode solid-state laser with an additional moving mirror characterized by a low reflection coefficient. Conditions are derived for the "soft" excitation of the radiation pulsations because of the finite delay of the light traveling between the main resonator and the additional mirror.
