Two-level system in the field of a high-power pulse of arbitrary duration

Abstract: The exact solution is obtained for the dynamics of a two-level system with unequal relaxation times subjected to the field of a pulse of arbitrary duration and amplitude. The shape of the pulse for which this exact solution can be obtained is- found by the inverse problem method.
