Relativistic up-conversion of radiation frequency in colliding photon and electron beams

Abstract: Approximate calculations are given of the feasibility of generation of directional x-ray pulses of up to 100 W power with a low relative line width. It is assumed that these pulses are generated as a result of the Compton scattering of laser photons by a relativistic high-density electron beam.
