Analysis of misalignment sensitivity of ring laser resonators

Abstract: A new type of ring laser resonator is proposed. In this resonator a self-conjugate ray exists for an arbitrary distribution of the mirrors. An estimate is made of the displacement of such a ray due to mirror misalignment.
