Method for orientation of uniaxial nonlinear single crystals

Abstract: A new combined laser and x-ray method is proposed for the orientation of nonlinear crystals. The orientation time can be reduced considerably by this method. An exmaple is given of the application of the method to the orientation of proustite single crystals.
