Abstract:
The stability of steady-state three-mode emission of a gas laser is investigated for an asymmetric position of the modes relative to the center of the laser transition line. Allowance is made for depolarizing collisions. The intensities of the modes and of a small-beat signal are calculated as a function of frequency for different pressures in a gas mixture. The time dependences of the mode intensities are considered in the case when steady-state emission is unstable.
