Wavefront reversal in interband absorption in semiconductors

Abstract: A theoretical investigation is made of wavefront reversal in degenerate four-wave interaction in semiconductors. It is shown that the effect is highly sensitive to misalignment and to the difference between the pump wave intensities. An analysis is made of the initial stage of the kinetics and it is shown that the generated wave intensity may have an oscillatory time dependence.
