Estimate of the resistance to ageing and irradiation degradation of cw InGaAsP and GaAIAs heterolasers

Abstract: A study was made of degradation of InGaAsP and GaAIAs heterolasers by ageing or irradiation with a flux of fast particles. A parameter representing an informative guide to the kinetics of these degradation processes was determined.
