Performance evaluation of the high-speed wireless tandem network using centimeter and millimeter-wave channels

Abstract: The method of estimation of broadband wireless network performance in road safety control systems is considered. The paper proposes and analyzes the model of tandem queueing network with correlated input and cross-traffic which adequately describes data transmission on the wireless channels using E-band millimeter waves and IEEE 802.11n channels. The algorithm to calculate the network performance characteristics is developed.
