On a counterexample for the Analytic Hierarchy Process

Abstract: The paper previously published in the present journal containing a counterexample for the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is considered. The authors aimed at demonstrating the inconsistency of AHP theoretical framework. Analysis of this example, carried out in the present study revealed a mistake in the way the authors used AHP tools, that makes their assertion of AHP inconsistency invalid.
