A Bound on the Distance of Unit Memory Generalized Convolutional Concatenated Codes

Abstract: A new class of codes are investigated, namely, binary unit-memory generalized convolutional concatenated codes. Bounds on the free distance and the construction complexity of these codes are obtained.
