Method of integral equations in 2D and 3D problems of plate impact on a fluid of finite depth

Abstract: This paper describes a method of integral equations for solution of the 2D and 3D problems of plate impact on an incompressible fluid of finite depth. The solutions of the equations obtained are investigated analytically and numerically. The behavior of the impact impulse is studied for various fluid depths and aspect ratios of the plate.
