Added masses of a cylinder intersecting the interface of a two-layer weightless fluid of finite depth

Abstract: The linear problem of high-frequency oscillations of a horizontal cylinder floating at the interface of a two-layer fluid was solved numerically using the boundary element method. Added masses are calculated for circular and elliptic cylinders.
