Abstract: A physicomathematical model is developed, which describes gas flows inside rapidly rotating bodies made of cellular-porous materials. Asymptotic and numerical solutions are obtained for some problems of forced centrifugal convection inside cylindrical cellular-porous bodies. The effect of the governing parameters (drag coefficient and dimensionless length of the cylinder) on characteristics and types of flows is considered.

Keywords: cellular-porous materials, vortex flows, mathematical modeling.
