Abstract: The action of an acoustic field on samples with a regular mesh structure, which do not contain any moisture, is examined. It is experimentally demonstrated that the degree of heating of samples exposed to an external flow with an acoustic action depends substantially on the material of the clamping plates. A mathematical model of coupled heat transfer in the sample and in the plate is constructed, which can describe the phenomenon qualitatively and (approximately) quantitatively.

Keywords: acoustic-convective drying, acoustic field, capillary-porous body, energy dissipation, thermal conductivity, physical and mathematical simulation.
