Solution of the problem of torsion of an elastic rod of $s$-gonal cross section using the boundary extension method

Abstract: The problem of torsion of an elastic rod with a regular $s$-gon in cross section is solved in analytical form using the boundary extension method. The method is based on the introduction of a wide rectangular region and special rapidly converging Fourier series.
