Lamé problem for a weakly anisotropic body with cubic symmetry of elastic properties

Abstract: The Lamé problem is solved for a body with cubic symmetry of elastic properties and the elastic anisotropy parameter is determined. In the case of plane deformation, the stresses in a ring are found to terms of the first order in the small anisotropic parameter. Stresses in a ring of KCl under internal pressure are calculated.
