Abstract:
Conjugate thermogravitational convection in a horizontal cylinder with two sources of energy with a constant temperature under conditions of convective heat exchange with the ambient medium is numerically analyzed. The mathematical model is formulated in the dimensionless variables of the stream function-vorticity vector-temperature. The influence of the governing parameters (Rayleigh and Prandtl numbers, temperature of energy sources, time, and relative thermal conductivity) both on the local thermohydrodynamic characteristics (streamlines and temperature field) and on the integral parameter (mean Nusselt number on the surface of heat sources) is analyzed.
